some things I find interesting
Perspectiva
I love the scale of thinking by this community of expert generalists working on an urgent one-hundred-year project to improve the relationships between systems, souls and society in theory and practice.
They argue that the world’s major challenges stem from a crisis of perception and imagination, and the failure of political culture to honour the fullness of reality.
They are exploring the uncharted terrain that lies mostly inside and between us. Seriously cool. Wow.
Dr. Iain McGilchrist
A British psychiatrist, literary scholar, philosopher and neuroscientist. His 2009 masterpiece, The Master and His Emissary, explores the structure of the brain where the right hemisphere is the master, while the left hemisphere is his emissary. And when the emissary overestimates his role and tries to overtake the master, things don't go well. And the left hemisphere always has this tendency.
Iain explains a lot of the predicaments that we find ourselves bedevilled with!
This is a big worthwhile read, or you might listen to Iain talking here on A Revolution in Thought.
Otto Scharmer
Otto Scharmer, author of Theory U, and co-author of Leading from the Emerging Future: From Ego-system to Eco-system Economies, is an action researcher who co-creates innovations in learning and leadership that he delivers through classes and programs at MIT, MITx u-lab, the Presencing Institute, the u-school for Transformation, and through interventions with institutions in business, government and civil society around the world. The Marginalian

Another great subscribe. Here's her beautiful website
Red Hand Files
I've only recently discovered the work of an extraordinary artist, Nick Cave. He came to me by way of Peaky Blinders and the wonderful sound track for that television series.
I understand he wanted an unmoderated connection with this fans, his audience, and created Red Hand Files. Anyone can ask him a question and he answers with tremendous honesty, insight and grace.
A worthy subscribe for anyone interested in thinking about the 'art' of their own practice and life. See here.
In awe of Nature
I like to remind myself of the beauty of the natural world, of which we are only a tiny part. There seems much to learn from Nature's mysteriously complex and interconnected ways.
I came across Barry Webb's exquisite photographs of these tiny organisms a couple of years ago. Neither fungi nor plant, they are Myxomycetes and are extremely small, averaging 1-4mm. Most of his images show them as fruiting bodies which is the spore bearing stage. Click here to see more of these mind-blowing Myxomycetes, Enjoy!
